You have ^(B)covered my head in the day of ^[b]battle.
⁸ “Do not grant, O Lord, the ^(C)desires of the wicked;
Do not promote ^(D)his evil device, that they not be exalted. Selah.

⁹ “As for the head of those who surround me,
May the ^(E)mischief of their lips cover them.
